Thomas Hall School Celebrates Third Year of Improving SATs Results
Exeter school records above-national-average results as Year 6 pupils continue upward trend
Year 6 pupils at Thomas Hall School in Exeter, part of Reach South Academy Trust, are celebrating after recording SATs results above the national average.
A total of 65.2% achieved the expected standard or above across reading, writing and maths, compared with a national average of 63%.
The results mark the third consecutive year of improvement for the school, continuing a positive trend in pupils’ attainment.
The combined measure looks at pupils achieving the expected standard or above across all three core subjects, providing an overall picture of attainment at the end of primary school.
The school also saw an increase in the number of pupils demonstrating a deeper understanding of their learning, with 9% achieving the higher level known as Greater Depth. This is above the national average and more than double the figure recorded by the school two years ago.
The latest results reflect the hard work of pupils and staff, with the school continuing to support children to make strong progress across their primary education.
